ABOUT USThe Tomorrow FundFounded in 1998 by fifteen young Nashville residents, The Tomorrow Fund brings together individuals representing a wide range of community service involvement, levels of education and work experience from throughout the country. The Tomorrow Fund provides its members with opportunities for personal growth and development while making valuable contributions to the community around them. With annual contributions, members and donors generate money to support annual grants to non-profits throughout Middle Tennessee and to build an endowment as a permanent source of income for the future. The endowment is created with gifts of cash, stocks, or property donated to the Tomorrow Fund. The grant spending level of the Tomorrow Fund will be determined each year by the Investment and Finance Committee of The Community Foundation. Spending levels generally range between 4-6% of the Fund to help ensure continuity of the Fund. In conjunction with our grantmaking, service projects are organized throughout the year to offer members a variety of opportunities to participate in hands-on projects giving back to the community. Together, the service and grantmaking provide opportunities for Tomorrow Fund members to develop leadership skills that will benefit the community for years to come.
